Believe it or not, being on the safety ski isn’t always the safest place in the open ocean. When there are 50-foot waves in the area, no one is “safe.” Despite holding on longer than most would have even attempted, driver Glyn Ovens was pummeled by this crashing wave. Fortunately he escaped uninjured.
