Dirt bike and off-road users will talk about finding traction when they weren’t expecting it. What they generally mean is they predicted the vehicle’s tires would break loose, allowing them to maintain a controlled power slide. When you suddenly and unexpectedly find traction, it usually doesn’t work out well. This video is an example of a PWC rider finding “traction” when he didn’t expect it.
