You can tell by the laughter of the people on shore than no one thinks he has a chance in the world of actually landing this massive backflip, but clearly everyone was proud of him for trying. When he finally makes it ashore, we’re not sure if he’s reveling in the crowd’s excitement or if he’s just happy to be alive. In either case, it was an impressive jump.
