DOWCO Introduces New Guardian PWC Covers PersonalWatercraft.com February 24, 2014May 5, 2016 Shares Comments Covers feature ratchet fastening systemDOWCO has unveiled what it is calling a revolutionary new line of Guardian PWC covers. “DOWCO’s easy-to-use Guardian Trailerable PWC Ratchet Fastening covers provide maximum protection from the elements for your PWC, allow you to trailer your unit with ease,” DOWCO says in a release. “These durable covers safeguard your PWC from damaging UV rays, ozone, tree sap, bird droppings, salt, gravel and trailering road rash and other elements that uncovered PWCs are subjected to.” DOWCO’s Guardian line currently includes four models that are designed to fit snugly on a variety of Sea-Doo and Yamaha WaveRunner PWC. According to DOWCO, the Guardian covers will fit the GTI, GTR, GTS, GTX, RXT, Wake 155, Wake Pro 215 series of Sea-Doo models and the VXR, VXS, VX, FZR, FZS, FX series of Yamaha models. Additional model fitments are in the works for the next year. All of the covers feature the Ratchet System along the perimeter of the cover, which is designed to make installation fast and easy. The black center panel is constructed using what DOWCO calls a tri-layer fabric panel (polyester, spandex, TPU – thermoplastic polyurethane), which is designed to allow the cover to stretch just enough to provide a delicate snug fit. The charcoal part of the cover is made using ClimaShield Plus solution dyed polyester for additional protection and fade resistance. Additional features include moisture release vents and reflective Guardian branded graphics on the back of the cover for added visibility while traveling at night.
