Make Your Sea-Doo Even Faster Lucas Cooney April 5, 2016May 12, 2016 Shares Comments Riva Racing offers two products to get more out of your Sea-DooPersonal watercraft performance junkies always want more power. Even Sea-Doo‘s 260 and 300-horsepower machines have more power to give if you know where to look. Perhaps the most cost effective way increase the top speed of these craft is with Riva Racing‘s Speed Control Override Module, which removes the restrictive GPS speed control function. According to Riva Racing, this one product can improve top cruising speed in the RXP-X and RXT-X to 75 mph – an increase of about 7 mph. “I’ve been in the business now for 24 years,” Pete from Riva Racing says in a video (which you can see below). “I’ve seen lots of performance parts come and go. Some worked great, some worked not so great. Never before in the history of watercraft performance has there been one singe part that puts that much speed on a machine.” The Riva Racing Speed Control Override Module retails for $199.95. The Riva Racing Cold Air Intake helps provide the Spark’s engine with more cool air, which Riva says improves acceleration and power. “The reason behind the air filter kit? Not just because it looks cool, but it actually adds power and it helps this engine breathe a little bit,” Pete says in another video (see below). “And it’s also going to help get rid of the heat fade that you’re going to get when run this machine hard. We’re going to take and draw air from the nose of the machine, that good cool air up there, and feed it into the engine so don’t get that little power fade.” The Riva Racing Cold Air Intake for the Sea-Doo Spark retails for $249.95.
