Original Jet Ski on display at World Finals

Jet Ski 400 a part of PWC history

While racing is front and center at the International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) World Finals in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., the biggest PWC event of the year features many other attractions. This year, several vintage Jet Skis were on display, including the first Jet Ski ever created by Kawasaki.

The Kawasaki Jet Ski 400 was introduced to the world in 1973. The term “Jet Ski” was trademarked by Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., and would later become a term synonymous within the PWC industry.
