Great PWC - A Little Tippy with Multiple Riders

Great ride, great features.



Upgraded from a 1999 Yamaha XL760 and ride is very comparable except when you add riders. If not careful, the GTX 155 can be a little tippy on turns with two riders. Haven't dumped it yet, but came close.



My only real complaint is the reverse steering. When rever...sing, the back-end moves the opposite direction (in relation to the handle bars) of every other PWC or boat that I have ever driven. I am attempting to contact Bombradier to get an explanation.

First PWC

Still dealing with the break in period so I have not opened it up yet but from what I can tell this is going to be a nice machine. Here is my list of likes and don't likes so far.



Likes:



iBR brake. It gives me piece of mind when my boys are driving.



Quiet Power: Can't wait to open it up ...after break in service. It is sooo quiet.

Comfort: Never drove any other ski but this handles rough water better than my 14 foot skiff.

Controls: The fingertip controls for forward/neutral/reverse make this a dream to maneuver.

Dis-like:

Cheap hard plastic used in front cowling and mirrors. No match for docks and piers and not very streamlined. Almost looks like they intentionally made it look dated just to have something to upgrade in the next few model years.

Staring procedure: Still learning how to get key in correctly first time/every time. It could be alot easier.

Noise level

Hi team. I just purchased a 2010 GTX 155. Within the first hour I notice that this machine is much louder than my older ones. This is my 9th Seadoo and I always had at least one GTX. All the engine noise seem to come from the front of the machine rather the rear as on previous models, plus at 5500 t...o 5700 RPM there is this mid/low frequency sound that goes right to my head. I have been talking to Seadoo, had it back to the dealer that also agrees that it is louder. Seadoo is saying that no one else has complained about this issue and they don’t feel there is anything to fix. They also suggested riding another similar machine, but my dealer does not have another one and no one in my area has a 2010. in my opnion this model year is much louder than 09 or 08 models.
