Best all around family Sea Doo ever

The 2019 GTX 230 offers all around performance for the whole family. When choosing which brand to go with, we closely looked at the fit & finish of the bodywork, & comfort of the seat. We also wanted a deep v hull to help slice through turns in smooth water. We hadn’t considered a sou...nd system, but when we saw & heard the built in blue tooth speaker system as available on the GTX230 it became a no brained over the other brands. From experience, I kill
liked the closed loop water cooling system for less maintenance and to avoid sucking up ocean or backwater algae. This 3 seater model comfortably
Seats my oldest son with ample room for his two children to enjoy tea ride together. The rear boarding landing offers extra room for accessories or extra room for boarding. As a father that grew up enjoying boating on lakes & rivers, I also appreciated the safety aspect that Sea Doo designed into the 2019 GTX230. It comes with 2 keys with different performance levels. One key is for younger age youths who are limited in speed. As they increase their skills or get a.little older their parents can opt to give them the other key that increases performance.
We traded our 20 year Sea Doo GTX today with Long Shore Marine in Florence Alabama & it ran today as good and strong as when we bought it new 20 years ago. The compression of the engine was always at factory specs & we never had the first service issue.
Now, 20 years later, ooh family consists of me the grandad,68, 2 sons, 38 & 35, plus 5 grandchildren.
The flexibility of the 3 comfortable seats, deep v Hull, Bluetooth great sounding speakers just made it a natural choice to trade. Sea Doo GTX

I bought the ski because I wanted to slalom ski behind it. I was very impressed with how stable and smooth the new hull is on the GTX. Using ski mode the GTX has been everything I hoped it would be for water skiing behind. The ski does get pulled around a lot when cutting back forth across the wake ...but this motion does not seem to be a problem for the skier. My only complaint is that the ski pylon is not up to the task of having a skier slalom ski with it. I have already broken two pylons and have resorted to attaching the rope to the tow hook.
