THE ONLY SAD THING IS THAT OUT OF ALL FOUR STROKES THIS IS THE SLOWEST IN THE WATER. 54MPH TOPS, GREAT SMOOTH RIDE IN LAKES AND AT THE BEACH IS VERY STABLE BUT EVERYONE WITH A 4 STROKE WILL SMOKE YOU. Read Full Review

Kawi Ultra

We purchased a new 2012 ULtra from our local dealer and used it a total of 4 times. It broke down on 3 of those 4 uses. It would start and run for a short distance. If you made the mistake od=f shutting it off or switching keys it would not restrt. Our dealer tried to figure out what was wrong with ...it but in speaking with the service Mgr they had several Kawis coming back. So we returned it and switch to Sea Doo which has many more features. The Kawi also has a very ddep "V" hull which is why we chose it but at slow speeds it had a strange handling Characteristic where the rear of the craft seemed to go under water on one corner. This seemed Prevalent when there was a heavier passenger seated at the rear of the craft. It was so noticable that on one occation we thought the craft had taken on water. On that occation my kids removed the craft from the water removed the drain plugs and seat only to find it completely dry. We had previously owned a STX-12 Kawi and loved it. We also owned 3 See Doos. So we returned to Sea Doos after the last tow. Read Full Review
