2005 Seadoo RXT

This is the 2nd Seadoo I've owned. The first was a 1996 XP which I had for 11 years. Great ski.



The RXT is a beast! Great for wakeboarding and ski-ing behind. The out of the whole power is unreal! After 4 summers and 60 plus hours, knock on wood I have had no issues. I have found the key to these... machines is NO MATTER the cost use the Seadoo oil recommended! Keep the level right and change at regular intervals!My XP gave me no problems over 11 yrs. My friends used cheap oil and the problems began.

The RXT is a great ski giving you the best of all worlds! Great gas mileage when crusing, room for friends, Unreal speed topping out at a real 70 mph (not fake like many ski's/ppl claim) Would def buy another RXT! Read Full Review

Awesome Machine

This is my 4th Jetski. I love it and finally had a chance to run it side by side with my Kaw STX1200-R. The Sea-Doo is only slightly faster, but it was smoother! For as big and heavy as it is, this girl will move! Read Full Review

Unbelievable Machine

I bought my 2005 RXT in 2005. It is a one-owner machine. I have 42 hours on it. Last year, I took it on a family outing to Palo Pinto Lake in Texas. The top speed was about 45 mph. I took it home and replaced the three spark plugs. It sat covered in the shed until two weeks ago. Decided to take... it out. I first replaced the battery, then headed to the lake. It started quickly and sounded great. Got out on the lake, warmed it up, and gave it full throttle. In only a few seconds, I was going 70 mph. I was 55 when I purchased the ski. I am now 70, but I now feel like I’m 40 again. I went out again the next day and took my 90 year old mother. I stayed under 30 mph, but had even more fun with her. This machine is NOT for sale. Owned since new.

This is a fabulous machine I have had many Sea-Doos in my life. I bought this new for $11,500. I’ve never had any real serious problems. I have probably 200 hours all of those hours are on Lake Mead and the Colorado River Lake Havasu. We have been to some fabulous sites with this machine. In... 15 years it still goes 70 miles an hour on a flat nice lake. Changing the oil every year getting a tuneup checking things out new battery every three years. It’s been the best machine love it.
