2020 Yamaha WaveRunner® FX Cruiser HO

Smooth and predictable ride

Just purchased a new 2020 FX Cruiser HO. Went with the non-Supercharger model. My wife and I completed the break-in period without incident. Ski performs as advertised, plenty of power, looks and rides great on river and lake. I really like the way I fit on the ski. I'm 6'-1" with medium b...uild and the fit is perfect. Love the Machine but Not Impressed

For only the second time in my life, I bought a toy brand new at the dealer. Having owned 4 Yamaha Waverunners before, its the only brand I was interested in. My last machine was a 2012 SVHO and although it was fast, it drank like a sailor on shore leave! This time out, I wanted big machine perform...ance and features but I was looking for a little better fuel economy. My 2012 did 72 MPH and my new machine won't even break 60; 58 is the end of the line. Although that is plenty fast, the thing takes a much gas as the Supercharged SVHO and doesn't have the zip. My buddy has a 2015 FX Cruiser, same 1800cc non super-charged engine, and it does 68MPH and gets considerably fuel economy than my 2020! On a long trip up the Ottawa River, the 2015 burned less gas WITH A PASSENGER than I did riding alone travelling at the same speed. I expected better from Yamaha for $20k plus tax, no super charger and brand new. In short; the new FX Cruiser has Less performance than previous model, but worse fuel economy. WaveRunner FX HO & HO Cruiser

I bought two jet skis in summer of 2020.. not sale price that is for sure. They both are great skis and do what i need them to do.. Top speed is around 56mph.. Honestly I think it is funny how everyone is so crazy with how fast their ski goes.. 56 is pretty fast.. 70 is crazy fast and so on.. but... really how long do u go 70mph.. 1 min? The skis are great in the ocean and if running 30-35 mph get great gas mileage.. I would think around 90-100 miles a tank. Hoping to do some traveling around Florida with them on rivers and down in the Keys. Looks like the initial purchase is killer and then they start to hold their value fairly well. Read Full Review

Wow

Purchased June 2020... didn’t want supercharged gas drain and so glad I took one step down. Cruiser seat is worth every penny. This thing has low end power like a beast and will top out faster than you really ever need to go. What a blast! Easily fit 2 kids with me or one adult and kid. Way t...o go Yamaha you nailed it. Easy to park and drive at low speed and nimble maneuvers low and high speed!! No regrets and I’m a FX user for life!! Read Full Review
